L’auriga
The charioteer is one of the most emblematic characters of the festival. He spurs his mules on during the triumphal crossing that brings the statue of the Madonna to the Cathedral, passing through the town and leading the papier-mâché float to its final destintion: where the "strazzo" will take place.
